Senior Frontend Developer (React)

We are hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to lead UI delivery on the candidate experience squad and co-own our shared design system. You will mentor mid-level engineers and establish frontend standards for a hiring platform used by thousands of recruiters daily.

• Lead the implementation of complex user flows using React 18 and TypeScript.
• Mentor one to two mid-level frontend developers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Partner with the design systems lead on tokens, Storybook, and component APIs.
• Drive accessibility improvements (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance budgets across key user journeys.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Backend Engineers on API design and incremental delivery.
• Represent frontend development during refinements and sprint planning, providing realistic estimates.

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• 4+ years of production experience with React and strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with mentoring engineers or serving in a formal tech lead role.
• Experience contributing to design systems, including Storybook and component libraries.
• Strong knowledge of state management at scale, using tools such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Experience defining and implementing testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and E2E testing awareness.
• Professional English communication skills for collaboration with US/LATAM stakeholders.

• Experience with Next.js or micro-frontend architectures.
• Background in the hiring/recruitment domain.
• Experience with accessibility audits and remediation practices.
• Familiarity with frontend CI/CD workflows, including GitLab and Vite.
• Experience with public speaking or leading engineering guilds.
